Auburn has chance for redemption against West Virginia
Last year’s West Virginia game was the moment when Auburn’s defense — held together by grit, good luck and maybe duct tape — finally burst apart.
Auburn’s chances of salvaging the season were swept away in a 34-17 defeat on a chilly night in Morgantown, W.Va.
Tonight, the resurgent Tigers (2-0) get a rematch against the Mountaineers (2-0) at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The game kicks off at 6:45 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN2.
