Saban won’t leave Tide for NFL
When news broke earlier in the summer that Nick Saban was going to have his original eight-year contract (which was to run through 2014) extended even longer, I thought someone was playing a practical joke.
Here’s a guy who has walked out on every contract he’s ever signed and some are going to make believe extending Saban’s deal to the end of time will really matter.
If Saban decides he wants to leave Tuscaloosa in the middle of the night to go somewhere else, there is no penalty. None. Just a big thank you coach and would you mind leaving the keys to your courtesy car on the counter.
