Rep. Taylor ready for troop withdrawal from Afghanistan

Speaking on U.S. troops withdrawal from Afghanistan, Rep. Gene Taylor believes “the sooner, the better” is now the best strategy.

Taylor sat down with the Hattiesburg American editorial board Tuesday to discuss continued fighting in Afghanistan. He said corruption is so rampant in the country that a “Jeffersonian democracy” is likely not to occur.
