Dennis Keith Pierce of Benton was arrested Monday on charges of conspiracy, fraudulently obtaining public funds and making false entries in public records. He is accused of embezzling funds from MDOT by receiving payments for false invoices submitted to the agency. The state auditor’s office is trying to recover $444 from him.
