There’s a picture of Lee Elder – the first African-American to play in The Masters.
And one of Jim Thorpe – one of two active black players on the Champions Tour, the PGA Tour’s circuit for players age 50 and above.
And another of former Jackson resident Pete Brown -the first African-American to win a PGA Tour event.
