STARKVILLE — In his bright white Mississippi State basketball jersey, Jarvis Varnado is out of place walking around Mississippi State’s campus on a recent scorching-hot afternoon.
That’s the point.
With a film crew of a half-dozen setting up and filming his moves, like when he “blocked” a wadded-up piece of notebook paper thrown away by a student, the Bulldog center is becoming an acting star.
