Ali still a symbol for change

Leola Tubbs has had a hand raising 10 children, 50 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren – mostly from her four-bedroom house a quiet wooded College Hill street.
And when she surveys the home, which has served as the hub to all things Tubbs family related for nearly three decades, she thinks of the man who made it all possible.
“Muhammad Ali bought this house for us in 1980; he paid cash,” Tubbs said last week. “It was just a dream. A blessing, you know?”
