Barbour keeps travel plans, even with budget limbo
Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour says he will still travel to Iowa and New Hampshire the last week of June, even if legislators here haven’t finished writing a budget.
Barbour also said Wednesday he’s going to New York in the next few days for an economic development trip.
He says there are plenty of ways for him to stay involved in the budget process when he’s out of state.
