Melton found unresponsive, taken to the hospital
Mayor Frank Melton was taken by ambulance from his home to St. Dominic Hospital this evening, Precinct 4 Cmdr. Kenneth Goodrum confirmed.
Goodrum said the mayor is unresponsive.
Melton, 60, was placed into an ambulance around 7:10 p.m.
Melton has suffered from heart-related problems in recent years.
