ESPN reports that Calipari has met with UK officials

Andy Katz of ESPN.com is reporting that John Calipari met with Kentucky officials Sunday about the men’s basketball coaching job at the school.

Katz also writes that Calipari is meeting with Memphis officials today to discuss what he anticipates to be a multi-year offer from Kentucky.

Calipari, a close friend of former Kentucky coach Rick Pitino, took Memphis to the national title game last year and to the Sweet 16 this season.

He is in line to have the top recruiting class in the nation at Memphis.
