ATLANTA — Tyler Hansbrough’s last dance has arrived.

It officially commenced shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday when Hansbrough and his top-ranked North Carolina teammates were excused from the ACC tournament with a bruising 73-70 loss to Florida State in the semifinals.
All that’s left now is the NCAA tournament, which is likely to begin for the Tar Heels on Thursday in Greensboro, where Hansbrough will quickly score the three points he needs to supplant Duke’s J.J. Redick as the ACC’s all-time leading scorer.
