Ron King, one of the most celebrated players in Florida State history, wore one of the most garishly gold pinstriped suits you’ve ever seen and accentuated it with an equally audacious garnet fedora.
It was a Saturday for Garnet and Bold.
And we’re not just talking about the attire of the former Seminole; we’re talking about the attitude of the current ones.
Said King, who had his jersey retired at halftime of No. 23 Florida State’s 73-66 victory over No. 12 Clemson: “You want to have just the right suit for a big day like this.”
