Scarbinsky: When will Auburn be in Alabama’s recruiting class again?
If all high-school football recruits were like Quinton Dial, a lot of grown-ups would have to get a life on signing day.
The Clay-Chalkville defensive lineman is no drama queen.
He committed to Alabama in June.
He took only one of his five available official visits — to Alabama — in January.
He’ll sign with Alabama this afternoon at his high school.
There will be a ceremony, but no hat trick. No national TV. No mystery.
“I didn’t want to have to go through my senior season worrying about where I was going to go to college,” he said. “I wanted to have fun as a senior.”
