Ole Miss continues recruiting hot streak

Just like it finished during the football season, Ole Miss is coming down the final stretch in the season of recruiting and is closing very, very strongly. On Tuesday, the Rebels secured their sixth commitment since Jan. 25 when four-star lineman Corey Gaines gave his word to Ole Miss, his high school coach confirmed to Sporting News Today.
Gaines is a versatile 6-foot-0, 275-pound tackle out of Godby (Tallahassee, Fla.) who has proven in high school that he can excel on either side of the line. He was courted by Ole Miss recruiting coordinator Chris Vaughn, who has a long history of pulling in kids from the Tallahassee area, which is known as the “Big Bend”. Vaughn is also a Godby graduate.

Gaines is rated a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, as well as one of the top 250 overall prospects in the nation.
