The 100 Concerned Clergy of Jackson will have a prayer vigil this morning at City Hall for Jackson Mayor Frank Melton.
Pastor Joe A. Washington, a spokesman for the group, said the vigil is meant to motivate the community to pray for Melton’s health.
Melton has been in and out of the hospital over the past few months with heart-related problems. He was recently released from St. Dominic Hospital following a week-long stay.
