Manning weighs in on Kiffin hiring
KNOXVILLE– Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning spoke Wednesday about the hiring of Lane Kiffin as Tennessee’s new football coach. The former UT star discussed the move during an interview session with Indianapolis media. The following is an excerpt:
On Kiffin’s hiring:
“Obviously, it’s a big change there, so we’ll see how it works out. I wish him the best obviously. My blood still bleeds orange. No question I’m disappointed that Coach (Phillip) Fulmer is not there, but I wish Lane Kiffin the best.”
