I think the Clarion-Ledger ought to adopt a policy that puts only winning Mississippi college football teams on the front page. Right here in Jackson Millsaps College is undefeated, and they don’t just win, they have been winning big. And these are kids who are playing because they love to play; none of them have football scholarships. They are playing great football and the only recognition they get from the Clarion-Ledger is some two paragraph story buried deep in the sports section. They deserve better. So, I suggest a new policy for the front page of the Sunday sport section — you only get on it if you win.
