Tide needs to keep its focus on Ole Miss

TUSCALOOSA — Now is the point of the year when followers of college football get ahead of themselves, especially with a school that has previously been bathed in prestige and prizes and is wishing more than anything to get back to that level.
So Alabama is at the doorstep again.

In some ways, it’s nothing new. The “Bama is back” line has been used before. The proverbial Kool-Aid has flowed just as heavily in the past 10 years, albeit not very often.
