Kragthorpe: Utah the best state for college football

Disregard what you may have heard about Texas or Oklahoma.
Utah is the college football world headquarters this season. No other state can claim two teams in the top 14 of the Football Bowl Subdivision polls (Brigham Young and Utah), a school in the Football Championship Subdivision rankings (Weber State) and the No. 2-ranked junior college program (Snow).
What’s more, Southern Utah broke its 19-game losing streak and Utah State … uh, let me think about this … is not nearly as bad as Idaho!
Yeah, life’s pretty good around here in the middle of the 2008 season, with Bowl Championship Series possibilities and – imagine this – potential playoff games, bringing us to the annual October conversation about what’s happened so far and where everybody’s headed. As usual, I have both the questions and the answers, but feel free to join the discussion.
