PARRISH ALFORD:Turnovers hamper a good start (Ole Miss)

OXFORD – The midway point of the season got here in a hurry. It doesn’t seem so long ago that Ole Miss throttled Memphis in the opener.
The Rebels had just one turnover that night. Boy, did things change.
Ole Miss has had 15 in the five games to follow to keep a good start from being a great one.
The Rebels are 3-3, 1-2 in the SEC as they prepare to visit No. 2 Alabama.

Offense
n Running backs: Junior Cordera Eason and freshman Brandon Bolden have settled in as the tandem, while freshman Enrique Davis continues to develop. (Read improves on pass blocking.)
Eason has been good with a screen pass – something that could be done a little more – but needs to handle contact better.
Bolden is a hard runner who keeps his legs churning.
