LSU’s Lee shows off good side, arm with second-half rally
AUBURN, Ala. — This is the price Les Miles paid for having a conscience. When the LSU coach kicked Ryan Perrilloux off the team 4½ months ago he basically traded a chance to repeat as national champs for being able to live with himself.
Miles knew it. We all knew it. Perrilloux was good enough between the lines, but outside of them he was a mess. In early May, Perrilloux was caught looking. Third strike and he was out for not fulfilling “his obligation as a student-athlete,” as Miles put it.
