OXFORD – There were no surprises for Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt on Saturday.
All freshmen and newcomers expected to report as the Rebels begin the first August camp with their new coach were present and accounted for.
Nutt also announced that sophomore linebacker Allen Walker, who left spring drills No. 1 at strong side linebacker, is back in good standing.
Walker was arrested and charged with DUI in late April and was then suspended indefinitely by Nutt.
“He’s off that. He’s done everything we’ve asked of him,” Nutt said.
At the time of Walker’s suspension, Nutt said the player would begin a program of alcohol education, community service as well as undisclosed disciplinary measures.
