Clark column: With season just weeks away, football fever rising
Over the last couple of weeks I have come down with a serious condition.
I have football fever.
With NFL training camps opening up Monday, it’s officially time to start talking football.
The Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles opened up training camp on Monday and the other 32 teams are set to open sometime next week.
As training camps open, the NFL is already buzzing about where Brett Favre will play next season and how will the impact of Jason Taylor dancing his way out of Miami to Washington will affect the NFC East.
While Tom Brady and the rest of the quarterbacks in the AFC East are probably celebrating the departure of Taylor, Tony Romo and the rest of the signal callers in the NFC East are probably not to thrilled about the prospect about dealing with Taylor twice this season.
