Tuberville talks about academics, recruiting and his upcoming trip to the Middle East
I caught up with Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville in his office on Monday morning. As he signed photos from a large stack of requests, he offered some thoughts as his 10th Auburn football season approaches.
On this day, Tuberville was particularly pleased with the news he’d gotten from the academic side of things.
“The grades look great,” Tuberville said. “We had a great semester. Some guys always have work to do in the summer, but everybody is on track to be eligible. We don’t have anybody that’s in trouble.”
With two weeks left in which assistant coaches can be on the road recruiting, Tuberville said the news has been good. The Tigers already have seven commitments.
