Murphy on Packers schedule, Favre to appear on Letterman
The Green Bay Packers say there’s nothing out of line about their 2008 regular season schedule.
Team President Mark Murphy is happy there are no Thursday games and no ultra-long road stretches.

He said the Oct. 26 bye will come at a good time.
The Packers will return from that bye with two straight road contests at Tennessee and Minnesota and they’ll have back-to-back home games only once on Nov. 30 against Carolina and Dec. 7 against Houston.
Meanwhile, Murphy expects to get complaints from Green Bay season ticket holders, because the Milwaukee ticket holders got the two best games; Sept. 21 against Dallas and Nov. 16 against Chicago.
