Reeves files challenge to District 71 voting outcome
Hinds County election officials determined that Reeves, a Republican, lost the Nov. 6 general election to Democratic challenger Adrienne Wooten.
Wooten came out with 1,524 votes to Reeves’ 1,303. The results moved Reeves 15 votes closer to Wooten, leaving 221 votes between them.
