At any rate, the attendance of the statewide media is crucial to the importance that is placed on the Neshoba County Fair.
No doubt, it is the state’s most well known political speaking – the last of a dying breed, now for all practical purposes replaced by slick television commercials and other trappings of a modern-day campaign. The tin-roofed, wood chipped floor and uncomfortable wooden pews that make up the pavilion seem out of place in today’s modern campaigns.
