Jackson activist may enter Ward 1 race

Jackson community activist and radio talk show host David Archie said he will make an announcement this evening outside City Hall regarding the vacant Ward 1 City Council seat.

Archie would not confirm he is running for the post but did say, “I have an open-minded and optimistic view of how to get things done in this office.”
