“Thank God for Mississippi.”
You’ve heard your fellow Southerners say it, and when they do, you know they’re not paying the Magnolia State a compliment. They’re saying that as bad as things may be in Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia and Louisiana, they’re even worse in Mississippi.
Guess what? People are still saying it, and they’re absolutely right.
