The 8000 member Mississippi Association of Educators made their endorsements in this year’s political races.
The MAE endorses Jamie Franks for Leutentant Governor, Rob Smith for Secretary of State and Jim Hood for Attorney General. Franks and Smith were on hand to meet educators.
Candidates for office were picked from a mailed questionaire and face to face interview. Members of the MAE then chose which candidates they believe support teachers and public education the best.
