Immigration agents arrested more than 7,600 illegal workers at job sites over the last year and a half around the country.
“The focus is more on the employer — not just focusing on people that are here illegally cutting grass and that sort of thing,” said Temple Black, direct of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in New Orleans.
Mississippi has done nothing about it — we have passed no law, not one single law to try and deter illegal immigration,” State Auditor Phil Bryant said.
