Jurors are expected to begin deciding today whether Jackson Mayor Frank Melton walks free or becomes a felon and has to give up his job with just more than two years left in office.
Melton is charged with house burglary, malicious mischief and two counts of conspiracy. Detective Marcus Wright faces the same charges, and Detective Michael Recio is charged with malicious mischief and two counts of conspiracy.
