Whose Money Is It Anyway?

The Mississippi Constitution provides that the Legislature shall determine the distribution of state funds. But we have a situation in the state now in which a chancery judge has decided how our money is to be spent.

And we have a former Attorney General who orchestrated the $20 million per year award to a private organization.

And, amazingly, the Lieutenant Governor has joined the fray on the side of the former attorney general and the local judge.
