Since the formation of the BCS system in 1998, Virginia Tech has won the championship of the Big East and Atlantic Coast conferences. The Hokies also have posted at least eight wins every season.
They’ve won bowl games over Tennessee, Cincinnati, Louisville, Air Force, Clemson and Alabama. They’ve finished the season ranked among the nation’s top 10 six times.
They’ve even played for the national championship.
All that’s left is winning it all.
