Mississippi State and Southern Miss get help on offensive front

Mississippi State and Southern Miss have added another offensive weapon to their 2011 recruiting classes as Wilkinson County’s Devin Fosselman committed to the Bulldogs and Briarcrest Christian (Tenn.) receiver Tray Becton-Martin chose USM.

Fosselman (5-10, 182) had more than 1,000 yards receiving on 47 catches as a junior in 2009, an average of more than 21 yards per catch. After flashing 4.45 40-yard dash speed and showing off his 37.5-inch vertical leap at a recent camp, Fosselman got — and quickly accepted — an offer from MSU coach Dan Mullen.
