Miles, LSU off to solid start in-state
Plenty of schools are off to great starts in recruiting the class of 2011, but a case can be made that no program is hitting it harder — at least in its own state — than LSU.
After finishing sixth in the 2010 team recruiting rankings, one would think all was rosy in Baton Rouge. But LSU finished behind Florida, Auburn and Alabama in the national rankings despite a strong close, and coach Les Miles is under fire for his team’s on-field performance the past two seasons. Will the great 2011 start be all for naught, or can Miles right the ship on the field and gain momentum toward a potential No. 1 class in the SEC?
