Ole Miss came into spring practice with some question marks in the secondary but it looks like junior college transfer Damien Jackson might be able to provide some immediate help.
“I tell you what, now, that sucker can fill it up,” UM defensive coordinator Tyrone Nix said after Monday’s practice. “There’s some things we didn’t see on the film that we hoped he could do. And he did it today. Right now he’s our third-best safety. If we had to play today, I’d put him in there.”
