“We’re just putting some new things in and we’re going to challenge both quarterbacks mentally and physically, as well as seeing what they can do with their arm in the spring,” Tuberville said. “I think it’s great to have two who have experience and who have won games and who have started.
“I think they’ll work well together. We’ll have one quarterback going into the first game as the guy [whose] job it is to keep or lose, but I think it’s very good to have competition at that position and I think it’s good for the team to see those guys battle it out.”
