Brett Favre’s Communication With Tomlinson Limited To Texting
Ed Werder clarifies Tuesday morning that Favre’s interaction with Tomlinson was limited to text messaging the former Chargers star.
Favre told Tomlinson he had “no clue” whether he would return to the Vikings for what would be his 20th season in the league, according to ESPN.
Vikings brass had requested Favre be involved in wooing Tomlinson, but Favre held back in anything more than text messaging because his own decision has not been made and he did not want to mislead Tomlinson, Werder writes.
