Colts lose 1 of architects as Mudd heads into sunset

Sometimes, silence speaks with 10 times the volume of words. Here we were at a local Starbucks, me and Colts offensive line coach Howard Mudd, talking last week just four days after the retiring Mudd had cleared out his West 56th Street office. I had no choice but to ask him:
“What did you think when Bill Polian said on his radio show that the offensive line was largely responsible for the loss to the Saints in the Super Bowl?”
