Dogs may have hands full with loaded Wildcats

STARKVILLE — A reporter was only four words into his question here Monday – “Are you concerned with” – when Mississippi State coach Rick Stansbury leaned in and cut him off.

“Concerned, yep,” he said, smiling. “A lot of things. You (don’t have to) finish asking that question. Which part do you want me to answer? At the 1, at the 2, at 4, at 5? Which part?”

Point taken, coach.

Heading into the Bulldogs’ much-anticipated showdown tonight with No. 2 Kentucky (24-1, 9-1 SEC) at Humphrey Coliseum, Stansbury obviously has concern with how the Bulldogs match up everywhere on the floor.

Dee Bost takes on freshman phenom John Wall at the point.

Barry Stewart will guard the Wildcats’ other top freshman guard, Eric Bledsoe.
