Who is the best coach in college football?
My vote goes to Alabama coach Nick Saban over UF coach Urban Meyer. It was not an easy decision, considering all the success both coaches have had at all their coaching stops. Saban has won two national championships. Meyer has won two national championships.
But Saban is the only coach to win his two at two different schools. Not only that, he had a much harder rebuilding job to undertake when he took over Alabama in 2007. Yet he went from 7-6 in his first season to 12-2 and SEC West champs in 2008 and then national champions in 2009. Plus, Saban went 14-0 — something Meyer has not done as coach of the Gators
