Tough coaching style getting blitzed
A coach allegedly ordering a player with a concussion confined to a dark electrical closet? Shocking, simply shocking. Or not. Gary Barnett has three words for anyone surprised, dismayed or outraged by the events that led to Mike Leach’s firing at Texas Tech last week: Consider the source.
“Everyone in the world knows Mike Leach is goofy,” Barnett said. “He’s not just goofy for 3 1/2 hours on Saturday afternoon. He’s goofy and he’s unconventional. To expect anything less from Mike would be naive. If you’re going to go play for Mike Leach, it’s buyer beware. He’s a goofy, goofy guy.
