Ole Miss’ Bittle won’t go to Ark.
OXFORD — Ole Miss pitcher Scott Bittle won’t travel with the team to Arkansas for this weekend’s three-game series because of continued problems with his throwing arm.
Bittle threw on Tuesday during practice, but coach Mike Bianco didn’t think the All-American was healthy enough to take to Fayetteville.
The senior right-hander, who was recently named a Ferriss Trophy finalist, injured the arm while warming up for a game against Auburn on May 3 and hasn’t pitched since.
