The overall fan reaction to the recent revelation that Alabama may be close to being placed on NCAA probation again because of the textbook scandal has mostly been met with yawns.
No big deal, most have said, quickly changing the subject to the opening of spring practice this week, the raging debate over who will end up as the Tide’s starting quarterback and the fact ESPN will show the A-Day scrimmage live and in HD to the nation.
Though some experts have said the Tide might lose a scholarship or two or three, the reaction remains the same. So what? With Nick Saban stockpiling talent, nothing can stop the Tide now.
