It means being able to joke about a subject that, earlier in the week, you addressed in hushed tones with red-rimmed eyes.

It means getting your name on the outside of a new college baseball stadium whose history in its own realm is nearly as rich as the one you play in.
It means being Alex Rodriguez at the University of Miami, and being held up as a paragon of baseball virtue despite being four days removed from admitting to being a liar, a cheat and, if this were truly a country of equal justice for all, maybe even a criminal.
