Oher looks part at Senior Bowl
MOBILE — Ole Miss quarterback Jevan Snead probably didn’t have to worry too much about being blindsided with All-American left tackle Michael Oher watching Snead’s back this season.
That almost wasn’t the case as the 6-foot-5, 305-pound offensive lineman thought long and hard about leaving Oxford following his junior season for the NFL Draft. Oher would have been one of the top tackles last year in what turned out to be a tackle-heavy first round of the draft.
Oher certainly looked the part, but he felt he needed to hone his skills one more season before contemplating an NFL future.
