We arrive here all too many times in college football: Professional reality vs. amateur dreams.
Or in layman’s terms, filet mignon vs. student union leftovers.
I can’t blame Matthew Stafford and Knowshon Moreno for leaving Georgia early and heading for the riches (and boredom) of the NFL. It’s a business — and the business is paying them a ton of dough.
The only issue I have is with what could’ve been. This Georgia team reminds me of Auburn, circa 2003.
