Seven members of The Clarion-Ledger Ten Most Wanted list for 2009 have announced their college choices, including several who did so before the season kicked off in August.
But for Tupelo receiver Chad Bumphis, Noxubee County receiver Pat Patterson and Louisville receiver/defensive back Dennis Thames, that word might not leak out until right before signing day on Feb. 4. All three players are on official recruiting visits this weekend. Bumphis (No. 2 on the 19th annual Ten Most Wanted) and Patterson (No. 3) are at Alabama, while Thames (No. 9) is taking a trip to Southern Miss.
