Is Auburn flirting with disaster in its coaching search?
Turner Gill, Rodney Garner, Patrick Nix, Todd Graham, Brady Hoke … Auburn Athletics Director Jay Jacobs had more people coming in and out of his room at the Waldorf-Astoria than a small-town Midwestern businessman attending his first Las Vegas convention.
The question is, are these really the kind of coaches Jacobs is going to get serious with? Or are these interviews just New York flings, distractions from the real search that is going on somewhere else?
